Founded in August of 2020, ThreeFourTwo Productions aims to give an inside look at the stories and personalities in the worlds of sports, business, politics and entertainment. The company’s flagship show, “The Old Man and the Three”, is hosted by founders JJ Redick and Tommy Alter.  The show was the only podcast to broadcast from inside the NBA bubble in Orlando.

Featuring exclusive conversations with the biggest names in the NBA, “The Old Man and the Three” immediately became a go-to listen for coaches, fans, and players for news and insight about the league.

Later in 2020, ThreeFourTwo productions launched “The Long Shot with Duncan Robinson and Davis Reid,” and in 2021 continued with “Macrodosing with Arian Foster and PFT Commenter,” a co-production with Barstool Sports. ThreeFourTwo productions launched “Fairgame with Adam Scott” in April of 2021.

As ThreeFourTwo Productions expands, it will branch out into the worlds of business, film, television, and food using the same targeted strategies that made “The Old Man and the Three” a success.

JJ Redick

JJ Redick is an NBA veteran, podcast host and co-founder of ThreeFourTwo Productions.

After 15 seasons in the NBA,JJ Redick announced his retirement from the league on September 21, 2021. In June 2024, JJ Redick was named Head Coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Redick the former No. 11 pick of the 2006 Draft, played for six teams in his NBA career and spent last season with the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks.  He averaged 12.8 points in 940 regular-season games and his 1,950 career makes from 3-point range rank him 15th in NBA history in that category.

Tommy Alter

Tommy Alter is a producer, writer, podcast host, and co-founder of ThreeFourTwo Productions. He has produced and written for multiple shows on television, including My Next Guest with David Letterman on Netflix, Desus and Mero on Showtime, and The Shop on HBO. He was one of the founding members of the podcast network The Ringer and co-founder of the organization “More Than a Vote.”

Jason Gallagher

Jason is an Emmy award winning director and two time nominee for The Ringer’s NBA Desktop. He was head of video strategy at The Ringer from its conception through the sale at Spotify. Jason is currently Head of Production at ThreeFourTwo Productions.
